The Art of Photography

There are two moons orbiting the planet Pulma. The volcanic orange one, Haelius, is home to gods who wield fire and necromantic magic; Daryae, the cratered blue one, is inhabited by gods with the power to heal wounds and control water. Both moons care more about their millennia of rivalry than protecting the mortals they govern.

By coincidence, the kind yet sarcastic Amric becomes a coworker, roommate, and close friend to the cheerful and compassionate Zellia. The problem is that they are both runaway gods who left their moons--Haelius and Daryae, respectively--in favor of leading secret lives of crime and other illegal activities in the country of Elmdiria. Both are motivated by dissatisfaction, trauma, idealism, and a desire for justice, but they find themselves getting in each other’s way.

Nevertheless, a sudden and alarming increase in undead and violent former temple worshippers may compel them to cooperate before their home moons decide to wage a new war against each other. Can they solve the mystery in their secret personas without ruining the relationship blossoming between their public identities?
